Temperature brake to reduce the reaction speed of a temperature cable sensor in a refrigerator or freezer Avoids larger temperature fluctuations (and thus false alarms) e.g. due to frequent opening of the refrigerator door For temperature sensors with 5 mm diameter
If a good must be stored in a constantly low temperature range, a thermometer with cable sensor and alarm function helps to control the refrigerator or freezer. If the temperature does not remain within the programmed limits, you will be alerted. But even opening the refrigerator door will cause a brief change in temperature. Especially in refrigerators and freezers that are used commercially and have to be opened and closed frequently, false alarms can easily occur. The aluminium TFA reference body serves as a “temperature brake” and helps to avoid this. The sensor of the cable probe is fixed in the reference body and placed in the immediate vicinity of the goods to be monitored. Only if the temperature of the reference body changes, the sensors react and trigger the alarm if the set alarm limits are not kept.
The TFA reference body is ideally suited for the digital control thermometer, article number 30.1034, and for all WeatherHub cable probes.
